Former Prime Minister and senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Yousaf Raza Gillani will be indicted in illegal contracts case, on July 2.
According to details, an accountability court on Tuesday (June 25) has summoned all the accused in the case on July 2 and copies of the reference have been handed over to them. Let it be known that the suspects include erstwhile premier Yousaf Raza Gillani, Farooq Awan and five others who are facing charges of awarding illegal contracts.
According to the NAB reference, Gilani in 2011, as minister of IT, in collusion with the ministry’s then secretary Farooq Awan and others awarded advertisement contracts illegally, thus causing a loss to national exchequer.
