Today Prime Minister Imran Khan attended the meeting of parliamentary leaders’ via video link, While Addressing the meeting of parliamentary leaders-PM Imran Khan told that the lockdown will impact the economy and increase poverty in the country.
Imran Khan said the government is working on making a volunteer force to enhance response to fight against the Coronavirus and provide relief to the poor and needy people.

Further Said that not a single patient of COVID-19 was imported from China. He called for lifting the ban on transport as this would affect and shorten the supply of essential items in the country.
Prime Minister apealed the leaders of all political parties and the people of Pakistan to jointly fight against the coronavirus. He also called a meeting of the National Coordination Committee tomorrow to review the situation arising out after the lockdown.
Special Assistant on National Health Services Dr. Zafar Mirza told the meeting attendees that there are one thousand confirmed cases of Coronavirus so far in the country.
He said 78% cases of COVID-19 have came from Iran and only 5% of cases were locally transmitted reported so far.
Chairman NDMA Lieutenant General Muhammad Afzal was also part of the meeting said the government has released 26 billion rupees for acquiring necessary equipment and other things to combat COVID-19.
