Pakistan Army spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor on Wednesday (Jan 20 during an interview with a local news channel, said that India always opted for an escape route from [bilateral] talks. He made it clear that Indian drones event cannot cross the Line Of Control.
“India always opted for an escape route from [bilateral] talks,” Director-general (DG) of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said. While talking about Indian claims about surgical strikes in Pakistan he said, “India has not yet given proofs of these ‘surgical strikes’ to its people,” he said. “We want to tell them that ‘surgical strikes’ are not conducted through mere brags,” he added. In September 2016, India claimed to have conducted surgical strikes in Azad Kashmir.
He also praised the people of Fata and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa he said , “We will provide shelters, education, health and jobs to those people who sacrificed their houses and other things in war against terrorism.” Speaking of the country’s military courts, the DG ISPR said it would be the government’s call if these courts were still required. Commenting on the general elections in the country he said . “2018 was the year of change for Pakistan as it was the election year. A change only comes through general election”.
A day earlier Pakistan’s army personals shot down a spy Indian quadcopter in Bagh sector along the Line of Control, said Director General Inter-Services Public Relations Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor on Tuesday (Jan 2).
