Indian immigration authorities have arrested 29 journalists who went to cover the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Pakistan at the Attari-Wagah border.
According to details, at least 29 journalists returned to India last night via the land transit route from the Attari-Wagah border who were earlier flew to Dubai from New Delhi to reach Pakistan to cover PSL. However, as they entered India after being cleared by the Pakistani immigration authorities, they were detained by the Indian authorities.
All were cleared by Indian immigration authority after being allowed by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs. Dr. Prabdeep Kaur Johal, the Amritsar civilian surgeon, said that if any of them showed symptoms of the virus, they would either be admitted to the government hospital in Amritsar or be allowed to continue their journey to Delhi or elsewhere.
Pakistan Super League (PSL) was aborted due to coronavirus concerns and the reporters decided to return to India.

Earlier, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) decided to cancel the remaining matches of the ongoing edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) due to a rapid increase in Coronavirus cases in the country.
