Indian Armed Forces Special Operations Division on Sunday (Sep 29) carried out its first war games near the Pakistan border in Gujarat. The first exercise was codenamed ‘ Exercise Smelling Field’.
“The exercise under a Major General rank officer was carried out in Naliya near the Pakistani border. The wargames have been codenamed ‘Exercise Smelling Field’. There are important Air Force and Army bases in and around the Naliya town which is part of the Kutch district,” Indian media reported.
The commandos of Army, Navy and Air Force took part in wargames. India has expedited war activities after Prime Minister Imran Khan’s speech in United National General Assembly session. On the other hand, India’s unprovoked firing at the Line of Control (LoC) martyred two Pakistani civilians, including a young boy, and injured another three, Pakistan Army’s media wing said Sunday in a press release.
