Indian Depute High Commissioner Gaurav Ahluwalia has arrived in the Foreign Office to meet convicted Indian spy Kulbushan Jadhav, suggest reports.
The Indian diplomat will shortly meet the former Indian Navy officer who was arrested in March 2016 from the province of Balochistan. Jadhav was accused of espionage activities and sentenced to death by a military court soon after.
India has accepted the consular access given by Pakistan to death-row convict Kulbhushan Jadhav, Indian media reported on Monday (Sep 2).
Earlier, The Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr. Mohammad Faisal took to twitter and wrote, “Consular access for Indian spy Commander Kulbhushan Jadhav, a serving Indian naval officer and RAW operative, is being provided on Monday 2 September 2019, in line with Vienna Convention on Consular relations, ICJ judgement & the laws of Pakistan”.
