Indian brutalities in Occupied Kashmir has been intensified since last few days as in a fresh act of state terrorism, Indian troops martyred seven more youth in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Indian Army Spokesman Colonel Rajesh Kalia in a media interview claimed that the youth were killed during an encounter in Keran area of the district. However, the informed sources in Srinagar said, it is a common practice of Indian troops that they arrest Kashmiri youth from different places of the territory, bring them in the areas near the Line of Control and kill them in fake encounters.
Meanwhile, with the recovery of two more dead bodies in the debris of a house collapsed during the 40-hour-long cordon and search operation in Pandoshan area of Shopian, the death toll mounted to four in the village.
The Indian authorities have imposed unannounced curfew in Indian occupied Kashmir to launch a massive military crackdown in the valley. The government has already suspended the internet and mobile services in the Himalayan region. The Indian occupied forces has martyred 10 Kashmiri youths in two days. The schools, colleges and universities have been ordered to close down. All exams have been postponed.
Indian media reports said some pro-India leaders from the region, including former chief ministers Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah, have been placed under house arrest.
