Following the Lahore High Court’s decision, the Interior Ministry on Wednesday (Jan 30) has granted one-time travel permission to Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz to travel abroad for 10 to 30 days.
Earlier on January 16, the Lahore High Court has granted permission to Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz to travel abroad for 10 days. It is pertinent to note that Hamza’s name had been placed on the Exit Control List last year. Hamza had told the reasons to travel abroad as he wants to see his ailing wife, undergoing medical treatment in the United Kingdom.
Hamza’s name has been placed on the Exit Control List (ECL) on the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) request.
