Indian brutalities are continued in Occupied Kashmir, as in afresh act of state terrorism, at least 90 innocent Kashmiris sustained injuries when Indian troops fired bullets, pellets and teargas shells on the people, who were protesting against the cordon and search operation launched by the troops in Tazipora area of Kulgam district on Wednesday (May 29). Many of the injured were admitted to Kulgam hospital, while four hit with pellets and bullets were referred to SMHS hospital in Srinagar.
The Chairman Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has denounced the use of pellet guns and other human rights violations by Indian forces in the territory. Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement in Srinagar, said that the Human rights abuses, including the use of pellet guns only exacerbates the situation on ground rather than improving it. He also said that the Kashmir dispute could only be resolved politically and not militaristically.
On the other hand the authorities suspended mobile internet services in the district. Intense clashes were also reported during a cordon and search operation at Pinjura village in Shopian district.
