India’s state terrorism in Occupied Kashmir is on rise as recently, Indian police martyred a civilian in custody in Handwara town. The civilian, Reyaz Ahmed Thekri who was arrested on Wednesday was severely tortured in custody by the police. He died in the lockup of Qalamabad Police Station in Handwara town.
Meanwhile, several people were injured after Indian police personnel fired teargas shells and pellets on protesters in Srinagar, Sopore, Hajin, Islamabad, Pulwama, Shopian and other areas of the occupied territory.
Earlier, In occupied Kashmir, an 11th class student was succumbed to pellet injuries he sustained during anti-India demonstrations in Srinagar city. The student was injured in the pellet firing by Indian troops on demonstrations in Soura area of Srinagar against the repeal of special status of occupied Kashmir by the Indian government. He succumbed to his injuries in a hospital in Srinagar.
The occupied Kashmir completed a full month under the siege of brutal Indian forces where unrelenting communications blackout and curfew have brought the normal life to a grinding halt with markets continue to remain shut and public transport is off the roads.
