Iranian President Hassan Rouhani called on Prime Minister Imran Khan on the sidelines of 74th United Nations General Assembly session at New York on Tuesday.
Both the leaders discussed in detail bi-lateral relations, regional situation and latest situation in the Indian Occupied Kashmir. Prime Minister Imran Khan apprised Hassan Rouhani about inhuman atmosphere Indian forces have created in Occupied Kashmir lockdown.
Hassan Rouhani speaking on the occasion said Iran would give the world a message of peace and stability side by side any undue intervention in the Middle East and Persian Gulf. He said the message of Iranian people would be conveyed to the international community as masses are facing cruel economic war imposed on Iran now a days.
“Iranians are in the habit resisting outside forces and expect others to keep and maintain promises and commitments made with Iran.”
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi held a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Javad Zarif at United Nations headquarters in New York on Monday. Matters pertaining to peace and security in the region were discussed in the meeting. Both Foreign Ministers agreed to continue consultations on changing situation of the region.
