KARACHI: A single tola of 24 karat gold was sold in Pakistan on Tuesday, January 19, at the opening of the bullion market for Rs112,850.
Similarly, at the beginning of trade, 10 grammes of 24k gold for Rs96,750 were sold.
According to the data released by the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Group, gold prices in the local market increased by Rs300/tola on Tuesday.
Bullion prices soared from $10 to $1,844/ounce on the foreign market as well.
Silver yields, however, remained at Rs1,300/tola unchanged. The price of 10 grammes of silver was the same at Rs1,114.54 as well.
In the meantime, Rs88,688 was exchanged for 10 grammes of 22k gold, while one tola of 22k gold was traded for Rs103,446.
