Bullion prices in the foreign market decreased from $25 to $1,845/ounce.
KARACHI: On Saturday, January 23, at the opening of the bullion market, a single tola of 24 karat gold was sold in Pakistan for Rs112,800.
Similarly, at the start of trade, 10 grammes of 24k gold was sold at Rs96,708.
In the meantime, Rs88,649 was exchanged for 10 grammes of 22k gold, while one tola of 22k gold was traded for Rs103,400.
According to data released by the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Group, gold prices on the local market decreased by Rs600/tola on Friday.
Jewellers reported that gold rates remained Rs1,000/tola lower on the local market compared to the prices on the Dubai gold market.
At Rs1,300/tola, however, silver prices continued to remain unchanged.
The 10 gramme silver rate was also the same at Rs1,114.54, it added.
