Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat while Speaking to the media in Chennai, has claimed that the Jaish-e-Mohammed camp in Balakot has been reactivated adding that about 500 terrorists are waiting to infiltrate into India, Indian media reported.
“Balakot has been reactivated. Balakot was affected, damaged and destroyed. Action had been taken by the Indian Air Force and now they are reactivated” Indian Army Chief said. “Pakistan violates ceasefire to push terrorists into our territory. We know how to deal with ceasefire violations. Our troops know how to position themselves and take action. We are alert and will ensure that maximum infiltration bids are foiled.”
On February 26, Indian fighter jets had carried out failed airstrikes in Balakot on what the Modi administration alleged were ‘militant camps’. Islamabad has denied any such camps existed. Indian Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale had claimed that Indian Air Force (IAF) jets had destroyed a key ‘terror camp’ and killed scores of terrorists. But later Pakistan had badly exposed Indian lies.
Although India claims it was a ‘pre-emptive attack’, it failed to produce any proof of it (audio or video). This proves their stance baseless. Our armed forces are fully equipped and ready to hit back any time if India opts for any misadventure.
On very next day, Pakistan Air force effectively responded the ceasefire violation of Indian Air Force and shot down two Indian fighter jets. Pakistan also captured an Inidan pilot, Abhinandan. Abhinandan’s MiG-21 jet was one of the two planes shot down by the PAF after they entered Pakistan’s airspace, a day after Indian warplanes barged into Pakistan and dropped their ‘payload’ in a deserted place in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Balakot area.
