JUI-F leader Mufti Kifayatullah is heading towards Islamabad to join Azadi March after being released from Haripur Jail on Friday (Nov 1). A day earlier, Peshawar High Court has ordered release of JUI-F leader.
Mufti Kifayatullah, a former MPA of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, was arrested from Islamabad on October 27. His arrest coincided with the start of the party’s Azadi March. Reportedly, he was arrested from E-11 Islamabad after a joint operation conducted by Mansehra and Islamabad police.
According to a notification released by Deputy Commissioner Office Mansehra, Mufti had been locked up for 30 days for raising funds for Azadi March and was later shifted to Haripur Central jail. The JUI-F leader arrived in Islamabad from Mansehra on October 26 to attend programs of private TV channels.
