On Friday, The protesters of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) continued to block the main highways of the country under the party’s “Plan B”, traffic flow badly affected in several parts of the country.
In Karachi, a protest at Hub River Road created problems for commuters, prompting them to take alternate routes. According to the provincial spokesman of JUI-F, Sami Swati, the party decided to continue the demonstration with the workers and party leaders to offer the Friday prayer instead of the sit-in.
JUI-F’s Balochistan chapter on Friday announced they would block the main highway and roads in the province from November 15 to 18.
JUI-F Plan B Takes Protests Nationwide
Earlier on November 14, Jamiat Ulema-e Islam (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman has announced to end Islamabad sit-in to expand the protest nationwide.
“We are ending our Islamabad sit-in here and will expand protests across the country according to our Plan B, announced JUI-F chief while also instructing the participants to come on streets and record a protest as Plan-B of the party.
