Justice Qazi Muhammad Amin Ahmad took oath as a judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday (April 24).
Chief Justice of Pakistan Asif Saeed Khan Khosa administered the oath at a ceremony in Islamabad. Justice Muhammad Amin Ahmad served as a judge of the Lahore High Court from November 2014 to March 2019.
He has been appointed in the SCP following a recommendation of the judicial commission and thereby, the number of judges in the SCP has increased to 17. After approval of parliamentary committee, President Arif Alvi issued directives for his appointment.
