Justin Bieber opened up about his personal problems with drug abuse, revealing that he was continuously watched by his bodyguards.
In GQ’s May problem, the Canadian singer discussed his past drug use in a rare confessional interview.
He described how his opioid addiction had become so bad that his bodyguards would check his pulse in the middle of the night to make sure he was still alive.
Bieber remembered, “There was a feeling of still yearning for more.” “It was as if, despite all of my achievements, I was somehow miserable and in pain. And I’m really dealing with these problems.’ And I assumed that all of my achievements would make it better. As a result, the medications served as a numbing agent for me to keep going.”
He went on to explain how he had lost concentration on his work. “I’ve just lost hold of my career vision.” There are so many different viewpoints. And there are people in this business who, sadly, prey on people’s insecurities and profit from them.
“Of course, when that happens, it makes you mad.” And then you’re this frustrated young person with big hopes, and the world just jades you and turns you into something you don’t want to be.
“And then one day you wake up and your relationships are [expletive] up and you’re sad, and you have all this success in the world, but you’re like, “Well, what is all this worth if I’m still feeling hollow inside?” The pop star went on.
