KABUL – Afghanistan’s Ministry of Information and Culture announced on Wednesday that diplomatic attempts to calm tensions between Kabul and Tajikistan were ongoing.
According to Rohullah Omari, a member of the ministry’s cultural committee, is a friendly neighbour. “The Foreign Ministry is in contact with all nations and is striving to improve good relations,” he said, adding that they will discuss any problems with Tajikistan.
Kabul, on the other hand, would not allow any country to violate Afghan land, according to the official.
It is no longer feasible to cross the border between the two nations. People who have been stranded say they have been trying to enter the border for several days.
“The refugees arrive from Badakhshan to Takhar and seek to get to Shirkhan port from there, but it is also closed,” said Fawad, a displaced individual.
