Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) from Sindh Ramzan Ghanchi received bullet injuries on leg after he was shot at Thursday (Jan 24) night during a meeting in Karachi’s Lyari neighbourhood. He was immediately shifted to the Civil Hospital, authorities said, where doctors said that he is now out of danger.
While disclosing the main reason of the incident superintendent of police (SP) for City, Muqaddas Haider, said the dispute originated from an issue pertaining to water supply in the area, adding that the weapon used in the row was likely a small one and used at a close range. Regardless, “it can only be confirmed after the doctors issue a report”, he added. PTI Leaders also claimed that , chairman Salman Soomro’s son opened fire at Ramzan Ghanchi.
