Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on Monday said Kashmir has been turned into a jail by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the freedom struggle of Kashmiris will definitely bear fruit.
Talking to media in Lahore’s Expo Centre, Fawad said that today is the important for Pakistan as European Union will discuss the Kashmir Issue today. “Like Hitler, Modi is not ready to negotiate with anyone,” the minister said.
He maintained that Muslims in Assam have been stripped of their citizenship and they have started raising voice against Modi as well. “Kashmir has been turned into jail by Narendra Modi, and their freedom struggle will definitely bear fruit,: Fawad said. “India is facing difficulties due to Narendra Modi’s policies, the economy is deteriorating,” he said, “The Sikh community is also not willing to stay with India.”
The federal minister also criticised the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and said: “He [Maulana Fazlur] remained the Kashmir committee chief for about 30 years but he didn’t held a single rally for Kashmir.”
The federal minister said Kashmiris have been besieged for 29 days as humanitarian crises have worsened, and the opposition on the other hand is busy in ‘save the father’ campaign. Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman has not held a single rally for Kashmir, he added.
Fawad also highlighted that the government has taken the decision regarding airspace and trade with India but it will be implemented after taking the advises of the stakeholders.
