Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Khalid Khursheed has been sworn in as Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) chief minister in Gilgit.
The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Governor House Gilgit-Baltistan, where Raja Jalal Hussain Maqpoon administered the oath to Khalid Khursheed.
Members of the GBLA and other high officials attended the oath-taking ceremony.
It must be noted that Barrister Khalid Khursheed of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was elected as a new chief minister of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Election for the leader of the house of GBLA was held through show of hands in the Gilgit Baltistan Assembly Hall in Gilgit.
Muhammad Khalid Khursheed secured 22 votes while the opposition nominated candidate Amjad Hussain got 9 votes.
The session of GBLA was presided over by Speaker Syed Amjad Ali Zaidi.
