The Lahore police has written a letter to Inspector General of Punjab Police (IGP) seeking a ban on popular online game PlayersUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG).
In a letter CCPO Lahore Zulfiqar Hameed has requested Inspector General of Punjab Police Shoaib Dastgir to immediately put a ban on popular online game by writing to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
The letter further stated that “PUBG is an online multiplayer game that has gained immense popularity among young people. The game should be banned immediately as it is leading to aggressive behaviour and suicides among teenagers,”
