At least twenty-seven people on Monday (Jan 21) were burnt to death and several others received burn injuries, as the passenger coach, set to leave from Karachi to Panjgor, caught fire after collision with an oil tanker on National Highway near Bella area of Lasbela.
Five people were transported to Karachi and admitted in the Civil Hospital. Dead bodies were shifted to Edhi’s morgue at Sohrab Goth. According to Deputy Commissioner Lasbela Shabbir Mengal, 16 people were wounded but taken out of the vehicle and four of them, in a critical condition, were shifted to a nearby hospital.
