Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday (May 14) has approved bail of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) Chief Khadim Rizvi and senior leader Afzal Qadri, against surety bonds worth Rs5 million each. Both are facing charges of sabotaging peace in the wake of Supreme Court of Pakistan’s (SC) verdict acquitting Asia Bibi in blasphemy case.
The court has announced the decision that was reserved on May 10. Earlier, Lahore police had booked top brass of TLP including party s chief Khadim Hussain Rizvi and senior leader Afzal Qadri and lodged as many as 11 cases against them and 500 other unknown miscreants.
