Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad on Thursday (March 21) received a warm and welcome on his arrival in Pakistan. Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi welcomed the Malaysian premier at the Nur Khan Airbase. The guest was given 21 gun-salute on his arrival.
In his three-day visit after invitation by Prime Minister Imran Khan, he will meet President Arif Alvi, hold a one-on-one meeting with PM Imran followed by delegation level talks. The two prime ministers will also speak at the round table meeting of CEOs of industries, who desire to invest in the automobile and telecommunications sectors of Pakistan.
During his visit to Malaysia in November last year, Prime Minister Imran Khan had invited Dr Mahathir to visit Pakistan as chief guest on Pakistan Day which falls on March 23. Mahathir Mohammad had accepted the invitation.
