The cyber-crime unit of the Federal Investigating Agency (FIA) arrested a man and a woman from Gujranwala over involvement in fake Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), FIA officials said.
As per details, suspect Waseem Farooq is a bank manager at a private bank in Lahore’s Defence area, who allegedly stole money from bank accounts through fake ATM cards of BISP. “The suspect had made fake ATM cards of BISP recipients through which he would withdraw cash,” FIA’s cyber-crime unit’s assistant director Asif Iqbal said.
