Martyred Pakistan Army soldier Lance Naik Muhammad Taimoor Aslam, who embraced martyrdom when Indian troops fired from across the Line of Control on August 15, has been laid to rest with military honour in Lahore on Friday.
The funeral prayer of martyred Lance Naik Muhammad Taimoor Aslam was offered at Walton Cantt Railway Station Ground and he was laid to rest at the Railway Officers Colony Graveyard with full military honour.
Provincial Minister Peer Syed Saeed-ul-Hassan Shah led the funeral prayer which was attended by large number of army officers and jawans, political and religious parties leaders including Humayun Akhtar Khan, Yaseen Sohal, Ijaz Chaudhry, Khadim Hussain Rizvi of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), chairman Kul Masalik Ulema Board Maulana Muhammad Asim Makhdoom and thousands of people.
Earlier ISPR has stated that “In cross-firing, three Pakistani soldiers martyred while five Indian soldiers killed while Pakistani forces have also destroyed several bunkers of the Indian forces,” ISPR said. The martyred include, Naek Tanveer, Launce Naek Taimoor, spoy Rizwan and Sepoy Muhammad Sheeraz “It is Indian attempt to divert attention from the precarious situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir”.
