Nadir Magsi, defending champion of the Cholistan Desert Jeep Rally and Tushna Patel have won the fourteenth Cholistan Jeep Rally in their respective categories held in Cholistan Desert near Bahawalpur.
Nadir Magsi covered the distance of four hundred and sixty seven kilometers in four hours, thirty minutes and thirty five seconds, while Zain Mahmood stood second with four hours, thirty nine minutes and twenty six seconds and Sahibzada Sultan secured third place with four hours, forty two minutes and fifty five seconds.
In female category, Tushna Patel covered the distance of one hundred and five kilometers in on one hour, forty one minutes and twenty seven seconds while Salma Marwat got second position with one hour, fifty four minutes and forty seven seconds. “The competition is getter tougher every year,” Magsi told the media.
On Sunday, Punjab Tourism Minister Raja Yasir Humayun and German Ambassador Martin Kobler during his inaugural speech of final round of the prepare category said “There are great prospects for international tourism in the area”.
