Babar Azam, The skipper of the Pakistan cricket team in all three formats, thinks that it is important to give support to youngsters which will subsequently help them improve further.
Babar Azal talked about his own struggle which he faced early on in Test cricket but after one year his performances improved just because of former head coach Mickey Arthur’s support.
The skipper said while talking at a presser ahead of the national team’s departure to New Zealand that “Our plan is to continue with a combination of youngsters and experience. Important is to back young players. My example is in front of everyone as I was struggling in Test cricket early in my career but team management supported me throughout,”
Babar Azam said that “Credit goes to Mickey as he supported me constantly and according to him, the more support I got & the more I played, the better I will become and now after one year, improvement is visible,”.
He further added that “My aim has always been the same is to score big when going on tours like Australia England and New Zealand. I am prepared for it too and will try to post a century there (New Zealand),”
