KARACHI: On Saturday morning, mild earthquake tremors were detected in various parts of Karachi; however, no damage has been recorded.
A magnitude 3.1 earthquake was reported on the Richter scale in the port city today, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The earthquake’s epicentre was 72 kilometres northeast of Karachi, with a depth of 15 kilometres. According to the Met Office, its latitude is 25.27N and its longitude is 67.57E.
At 11:39 a.m. in the metropolis, earthquakes were felt.
