Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan, Punjab Information Minister claimed that former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Talal Chaudhry harassed the female MNA and now PML-N leadership is trying to save Talal Chaudhry.
Punjab Information Minister while addressing a press conference claimed that Talal Chaudhry had harassed a woman MNA from his own party and damaged the PML-N’s reputation, “Organizational restructuring meetings take place in the light of day and not at night,” Chohan said, added that such political meetings at night usually result in such injuries.
Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan said that police have received calls on 15 from both sides and action would be taken against both PML-N leaders if they had reported the fake incident, “If the incident reported is fake, then strict action can be taken against both of them,” Chohan added
The Punjab government has formed a committee under the supervision of senior Faisalabad police official Abdul Khaliq to investigate the incident, Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan said
It must be noted here that, Talal Chaudhry, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader suffered a severe arm fracture after being beaten up by a own party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz woman MNA Ayesha Rajab Baloch`s brothers for allegedly harassing her.
According to sources, The former state minister Talal Chaudhry`s left arm had 2 fractures, for which he underwent a surgery at a private hospital in Lahore, further added that he also had bruises on his body.
The sources said that the incident happened in Faisalabad 2 days back when 2 unknown persons roughed him up, The brothers of MNA Ayesha Rajab Baloch beat him for allegedly harassing her, as a result of which he suffered arm fractures and head injuries.
Sources also said Talal Chaudhry is currently undergoing treatment in the private hospital’s room No.4, When journalists asked senior party leaders, including Ahsan Iqbal and Marriyam Aurangzeb, about the incident, they feigned ignorance. The party is trying to hush up the matter.
