The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday (Sep 25) has given approval inquiries against the president of PML-N Shehbaz Sharif and other important figures.
The decision was taken in the NAB executive board meeting which has also approved sever inquiries and two references in different cases of corruption.
NAB meeting has approved filing of reference against the director Eden Housing Society Amjad for allegedly causing loss of 25 billion rupees to national exchequer by using unfair means while it also approved filing of reference against owners of a private company and shareholders for selling of sub-standard wheat that caused the loss of 80 million rupees to the national exchequer.
According to the NAB’s declaration of the meeting, NAB has approved inquiry against Shehbaz Sharif. It has also approved investigation against frontier constabulary and metro corporation Quetta administration. NAB board has decided to send corruption cases against officials to CDA.
Talking on the occasion, Chairman NAB said that NAB is following the policy of accountability for all as NAB has deposited 71 billion rupees to national exchequer after getting plundered wealth.
