Just few months after the raids by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) at warehouses of Kandhkot and Kashmore , the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned eight wheat go-down in-charges of Larkana over alleged corruption.
According to the sources, Rs 1million loss occurred due to alleged corruption in the wheat stock in only four wheat warehouse in Larkana district. NAB has directed them to carry all concerned documents and details of how many wheat bags they had received from 2007, how much wheat bags were sold and how much still remains in stock.
On April 27, wheat worth 12 million rupees were allegedly stolen from go-downs in Sindh. The NAB had warned that strict action would be taken against those also who would be found involved in selling the wheat in the market.
