The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Friday (Nov 9) raided the house of a former grade-16 government officer in Lahore and seized Rs300 million, including cash and prize bonds, officials said.
Rs100 million in Pakistani currency, prize bonds worth Rs170 million and around Rs30 million in foreign currency of 11 countries, were recovered during raid. However identity of former officer has not been revealed yet.
Officials said that huge properties are registered in the name of the suspect and NAB director general has ordered to probe the suspect for owning assets beyond means.
