The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday (Sep 3) has closed the file of an investigation against former Sindh chief minister Qaim Ali Shah regarding alleged illegal allotment of the land in Malir riverbed in Karachi.
NAB prosecutor told the Sindh High Court on Tuesday that they couldn’t find enough evidence against the PPP leader. The SHC warned the bureau to complete the investigation first then arrest people.
The court disposed of Shah’s petition and ordered for the surety amount he paid for bail to be returned to him. It is pertinent to mention that NAB had also launched an investigation against Qaim Ali Shah regarding alleged illegal adjustment/exchange of state land in Malir for the purpose of a private project being developed by Bahria Town.
