Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is currently meeting his younger brother and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, Shahbaz Sharif, at the Parliament House, to discuss the country’s current political situation, national issues and the ongoing National Accountability Bureau (NAB) cases.
A parliamentary meeting of the PML-N is scheduled to take place in Shehbaz’s chambers after the NA session.
Shehbaz was brought by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials a day earlier to attend the session of the Lower House. NAB had arrested PML-N President on October 5 pertaining to the Ashiana Iqbal Housing scam.
Earlier Shahbaz and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari have decided to cooperate and work together on a joint strategy deal with national issues, and the problems the country is facing. The two leaders entered the National Assembly together after the session resumed today and held a brief talk.
