Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday while leaving the court said that there is nothing in the case against him and lamented that Pakistan has once again been thrown off track from the road to progress.
“My conscience is clear. I haven’t done anything which can put me to shame,” Nawaz said. “I am hopeful I will get justice. I have served the country with utmost honesty.” “The incumbent government has sabotaged the nation’s progress,” he added.
An accountability court on Monday (Dec 24) following the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) Flagship Investments and Al-Azizia Steel Mills references against ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif, will decide that whether Nawaz Sharif will go home as a free man or will be shifted to the Adiala Jail.
