After rejection of bail plea Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif was shifted to Kot Lakhpat Jail from Jinnah Hospital, where he will b provided B-class facilities include newspaper, TV, table, chair and bed. Sharif would be kept in the jail’s security ward and Kot Lakhpak Jail Superintendent Ijaz Asghar would supervise the PML-N supremo’s security.

After Islamabad high Court’s decision to dismiss former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s bail plea on medical grounds in pertaining to Al-Azizia steel mills reference, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders on Monday (Feb 25) announced to file an appeal against the Islamabad High Court (IHC) decision.
A court in Islamabad on Dec 23 sentenced the former prime minister to seven years in prison following Al-Azizia steel mills reference while he has been acquitted in the Flagship Investment reference.
