Following England’s thumping win against New Zealand has virtually knocked out Pakistan from the World Cup 2019 as the team now need to beat Bangladesh by at least 312 runs at Lord’s on Friday (July 5) to qualify for the semi-finals, which is seems to be impossible.
Pakistan currently stands at the fifth position with nine points and a net run rate of -0.792.
It’s pertinent for Pakistan to bat first on Friday because if Sarfaraz loses the toss and Bangladesh bat first, Pakistan will be eliminated directly.
