President Dr. Arif Alvi, while addressing the ‘Kashmir Hour’ rally in Islamabad on Friday (August 30) , said that the country is standing ‘shoulder-to-shoulder’ with Kashmiris. President Alvi said that Kashmir will get freedom only if we stand united. “Whole nation is united against the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir.”
“No one is allowed to suppress the rights of Kashmiris. Kashmir issue is the issue of the whole Muslim community around the globe,” President Alvi said. “Muslims in India are also facing atrocities,” he added.
President Alvi thanked nation to express solidarity with Kashmir. “We will always highlight the Indian propaganda in front of the world,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday warned Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi that ‘Every brick will be countered with a brick’. Addressing the ‘Kashmir Hour’ rally outside the PM Secretariat, PM Imran said that it was important to understand the type of government in India which was oppressing people.
“We need to understand the ideology of the RSS. This was a party which was motivated by hatred for Muslims. This party was inspired by Hitler’s Nazi party. Their [RSS] manifesto was to remove Muslims or treat them as second class citizens in India,” the premier said.
Pakistani nation on Friday (August 30) observed Kashmir hour to express solidarity with Kashmniris. Special ceremonies were held at President House and Prime Minister’s Secretariat to express solidarity with the oppressed people of India-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Ministers, MNAs, officials, public servants, students of schools, colleges and universities, government and private offices, banks, traders, lawyers and military authorities have gathered outside the two executive offices, waving both Pakistani and Kashmiri flags.
