Smartphone lovers are just loving the first looks of Oppo smartphone having invisible selfie camera. Oppo shared a short video clip of what appears to be a notch-free prototype smartphone lying on a desk. Unlike the hole punch displays that we’ve seen in the past, there is no cheeky cutout for the selfie camera. In the past, OPPO has tried out different ways to deal with the selfie camera, including a slider on the Find X as well as the side-pivoted pop-up on the OPPO Reno.
In the we can see that despite the lack of a visible front-facing camera, the screen still seemingly showed a live view of the room’s ceiling. Just to add credibility to the video, the demonstrator also hovered a finger over where the camera is supposedly hidden.

Earlier this year, Samsung also confirmed that it’s working on a method to make the camera invisible.
