Opposition leaders have criticized the 100-day performance of the incumbent government and termed it as a a pack of lies. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader, Marriyum Aurangzeb during a press conference in Islamabad, said that “We have seen 100 lies in the first 100 days.” “This time would best be described as a tale of hopelessness”.
She further said that governmnet’s performance was quite shameful in 100 days as PTI leader had failed to fulfill promise, adding that Prime Minister Imran Khan did nothing for economy, except begging and heavy loans from other countries. “Imran Khan should remember now before making a u-turn after the completion of 100 first days,” she said. Aurangzeb claimed that the government has been trying to mask its own shortcomings by accusing the PML-N leaders of corruption.
Pakistan People’s Party leader Aitzaz Ahsan said that the 100-day plan has been a reason for embarrassment to the government. He also advised government that “PTI should not have made tall claims because no government can reach its goals only within the initial 100 days of coming to power”.
