‘Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s efforts to start million march against ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government is seem to be in final phases of execution as Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has announced that it will offer all-out support to JUI-F agitation against the Imran Khan led PTI.
“Our leaders and workers will take part in the JUI-F’s million march to be held on April 28 as we both agree to the idea of ousting the government over economic crisis, including inflation, caused by its wrong policies,” PML-N district president Zafar Mehmood told reporters after meeting with JUI-F delegation.
“Our leadership has accepted the JUI-F’s invitation for the million march and therefore, our leaders and workers will actively participate in it giving out a message to the ruling PTI that the people don’t accept escalating inflation, unemployment and power and gas charges,” said Mr Mehmood.
However the top leadership has not confirmed the news yet. Its worth mentioning that earlier Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari threatened the to topple it. Mr. Zardari also announced that he would march towards Islamabad along with his party workers to oust the incumbent government.
