Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday (Feb 26) called National Command meeting today( Feb 27) to discuss effective response to Indian aggression.
Addressing a news conference along with Minister for Defence, Pervez Khattak and Finance Minister, Asad Umar after the National Security Committee meeting, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said India committed uncalled for aggression and the Prime Minister has directed all elements of national power including the armed forces and the people of Pakistan to remain prepared for all eventualities.
Maj-Gen Ghafoor during his press conference in a wake of Indian attempt of air strike, said Prime Minister Imran Khan has called a meeting of the National Command Authority (NCA) following the joint session of Parliament scheduled for Wednesday.
Pakistan Air force has effectively responded the ceasefire violation of Indian Air Force air jets. As per details issued by Major General Asif Ghafoor, the director-general of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), “Indian aircrafts intruded from Muzafarabad sector. Facing timely and effective response from Pakistan Air Force released payload in haste while escaping which fell near Balakot. No casualties or damage”.
