After losing first test match now Pakistani Shaheen are seem in trouble after losing lost both the openers within an hour of the opening session after opting to bat in the second Test against New Zealand in Dubai on Saturday.
In second test match Pakistan won the toss and Mohammad Hafeez and Imam-ul-Haq were both removed for nine, caught off Colin de Grandhomme in the slips by Tom Latham.
Earlier, New Zealand defeated Pakistan by four runs in the fourth day of the first test match, played in Abu Dhabi on Monday (Nov 19). New Zealand took a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. Pakistan were bowled out for 171 following the target of 176, set by the winning team. Azhar Ali top-scored with 65 while Asad Shafiq made 45. NZL’s left-arm spinner Ajaz Patel finished the match with 5-59 and fast bowler Neil Wagner taking 2-27.
The third and final Test is in Abu Dhabi from December 3.
