The third One Day International of the three-match series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played at National Stadium Karachi on Wednesday (Oct 2). Pakistan is leading the series by 1-0.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s head coach-cum-chief selector Misbahul Haq has finalised the Men in Green squad for the upcoming Twenty20 International (T20I) series against the touring Sri Lankan side. Middle-order batsman Umar Akmal and opener Ahmed Shehzad, who were part of the list of probables for the limited-overs series against Sri Lanka, have been included in the Pakistan contingent.
Fast-bowler Hasan Ali, who was left out of the squad for ODI series against Sri Lanka due to a back spasm, has not fully recovered and will have to spend more time on the sidelines. Rookie pacer Mohammad Hasnain and all-rounder Faheem Ashraf have also been successful in retaining their place in the squad.
