Pakistan has finally decided to enhance tourism in Pakistan, which would be beneficial for the economy of the country, so that’s why Pakistan is going to grant visas on arrival while 175 countries will be granted the e-visa facility, in a bid to revive tourism in the country, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said while speaking to media in Islamabad.
“We have mountain tourism, we have beach tourism,” he told reporters in Islamabad, “Tourists would also be allowed to visit the politically sensitive Himalayan region of Kashmir and other northern areas, which now require special permission. The new rules would also ease travel restrictions on foreign journalists” , Fawad Chaudhry said. “We want to make ‘Naya Pakistan’ a heaven for tourists,” Chaudhry said. Pakistan has lost tourism in previous years due to security issues.
