The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa said on Friday that Pakistan will make sure all-out efforts for the durable peace in the region, particularly in Afghanistan.
He made these views while meeting with the US special envoy to Afghanistan Peace Process Zalmay Khalilzad and both have agreed on getting mutual goals and the Afghan peace process.
The US envoy, talking on the occasion, hailed Pakistan role in the Afghan peace process and said other countries will have to follow Pakistan’s footprint in connection to the Afghan peace process. Army Chief General Bajwa said that Pakistan will make sure the all measures for the durable peace in the region as it has the full capabilities to promote the peace.
