Pakistan offers a tax holiday for foreign investment in the tourism sector to attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).
Investment Board Chairman Zubair Gilani said the government plans to invite foreign investment and expected huge foreign investment for establishing tourist areas in Swat, Galiat, Hazara region, Gilgit Baltistan and other tourist areas.
The government of Pakistan is focusing on building the tourism sector on a priority basis.
The Chairman said the government intends to diversify tourism by exploiting its various sectors, including religious, adventure, medical and education, to promote the soft image of the country at the international level.
